POLY-CHAR (https://poly-char.org/) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering a collegial environment for the exchange of knowledge, promoting student exchanges and collaborations, hosting international meetings, and providing a platform for scientists worldwide in the field of Polymer Science and Technology. Its scope embraces researchers engaged in experimental work, theoretical studies, and computer simulations, with the goal of achieving a deeper understanding of the relationships between polymer structures, properties, and applications. The main aim of this conference for nearly 30 years has been to bring together both academia and industry at all levels.
Another key point of POLY-CHAR is that it has always placed special emphasis on international collaboration, promotion of young scientists, and providing a collegial environment. It should also be noted that a good balance between gender and senior and young scientists has and will be sought throughout both the organization and duration of the conference. One of the features of the program will be the ‘flash presentation’ sessions, in which brilliant researchers in the early stages of their career will be given the opportunity to present orally their work at an international conference.
POLY-CHAR 2026 conference carries the underlying theme “Smart, Sustainable & Data-Driven Polymeric Materials: From Molecular Design to Circular Applications”, to help promote cross-disciplinary understanding between the classical branches of polymer science and some of the more avant-garde fields. The conference theme covers topics of special significance at present, such as sustainability, recyclability, energy, health, security, and AI, which will be in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from November 22-25, 2026. We believe that your expertise will greatly contribute to the discussions at this conference and enrich the overall experience for all participants. Your participation would be highly valued by both the organizing committee and fellow attendees. In addition to our main conference activities, we hope that all participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the rich history, charming culture, beautiful scenery, and delicious cuisine of Chiang Mai, Thailand.
