About Us

FAME

Objective

The main objective of FAME research unit is to develop both fundamental and applied research work in the areas of materials and plasma, to support industrial research and development (R&D) and provide consultations to related industries, to produce high-quality research publications, to conduct an efficient collaborative supervision of graduate students, and to arrange for cooperation with other research groups. The research unit will focus on joint efforts to obtain necessary research funding and supports from both national and international funding agencies, and to provide academic services to related industries and the public.

A group of faculty members who have expertise in various areas related to Materials Science and Engineering, Computational analysis of materials, Materials Manufacturing, and Biomedical Applications is proposing collaborative work to enhance research excellence of SIIT, and to provide academic services to related industries and the public.

In 2020 Dr.Shu-han Hsu Joined the Group

Dr.Shu-han Hsu from Taiwan has joined our group as a Lecturer and a Researcher. She is working in  nanofabrication, Si/Ge device, surface modification, soft-lithography and Self-assembly monolayer

Dr.Chariya Kaewsaneha joined our reserach group as a research faculty member
She is working on Colloid polymer science - synthesis, fabrication and functionalization of polymer and/or hybrid polymer/inorganic nanoparticles for coating nanotechnology and biomedical applications
